Program "Development of the Regions" 2021-2027

Under European legislation, programme authorities, beneficiaries and stakeholders in Member States should raise awareness of what Union funding has achieved and inform the general public accordingly. Transparency, communication and visibility activities are essential to promote Union action on the ground and should be based on true, accurate and up-to-date information. In order to comply with these requirements, the programme authorities and, in the event of non-compliance, the Commission, should be able to impose corrective measures. 

According to Article 46 of REGULATION (EU) 2021/1060 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 24 June 2021 laying down common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund, the Just Transition Fund and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund, as well as on the financial rules applicable to them and to the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, the Internal Security Fund and the Instrument for financial support for border management and visa policy, each Member State shall ensure: 

(a) the visibility of support in all activities relating to operations supported by the Funds, with special attention to operations of strategic importance;

(b) communication to Union citizens on the role and achievements of the Funds through a single web portal providing access to all programmes involving the Member State concerned.
